We are so saddened to hear about the passing of Dennis. My wife and I have very fond memories of our friendship. He never said no to lending a hand. We will miss him.

Dennis was our neighbor when we moved into the Germantown neighborhood in Nashville. He always had a ready smile and a willing hand whenever it was needed. He enjoyed working outdoors and planted a row of boxwood hedge in front of his house and two others next to his. Those hedges will be a reminder to us of his friendship. When I needed something at the hardware store Dennis would always help me find what I was looking for, always with a warm greeting and that big smile. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Dennis. I was a regular customer at 3rd Av. Hardware in Nashville. Dennis was always friendly to me. We had a lot of laughs over the years. He was the backbone of the business. I enjoyed knowing him. May God bless him and his family.
