Mrs. Mangano will remain in my son's heart forever. My son, Riley Smith Mallon, visited Dorothy over the years with the Boys and Girls Club of WNY. They shared a special bond. Dorothy even invited Riley to attend the family Christmas gathering one year. She lived an extraordinary life and touched so many. It was an honor to know her.

My sympathies to the Mangano side of the family...I remember Dorothy and all of you from Brown family reunions as a child. Prayers and love to you all!

This world has lost a real treasure. Dorothy was, and still is, an inspiration to all who knew her, love her and saw what she accomplished throughout her long life. She and Louie welcomed my late husband and I into their lives and immediately made us feel like family. Dorothy’s vast knowledge of politics, flowers, and food made spending time with her a delight.
My memories of her are of her constantly feeding me. Just when I didn’t think I could hold any more, out she’d come with something so tempting who could resist.
Dorothy has left her legacy with four wonderful daughters and their loving families. She will be greatly missed by so many. That is a testimony of a life so very well lived.

I was praying to be able to visit you once more. You was a great person to spend time with. Warm hugs and a giddy smile always made my day. Till we meet again my friend.
