Sheila,
You know I have had the greatest respect for Jerry. He was, as the expression goes, as honest as the day is long. He was proud of the legal profession. He embodied all that one could wish for a lawyer: intellect, wisdom, fairness, honesty, quick mind, an eye on justice. He gave private and public clients his full attention and commitment no matter how huge or small were the issues. He was soft spoken, but firm; gentle, yet tough minded. He treated everyone with great respect and was truly a man of principle who set an example for us as human beings. I realize you know all this about Jerry, but, I wanted you to read that others recognized his outstanding qualities.
