Obituary of John M. Doner, Jr.

John M. Doner Jr., 56, beloved son of Ann Doner and the late John Doner Sr. of Hanford Bay, passed

away suddenly in his Sheridan home on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023. He was a 1985 graduate of Silver Creek

Central School. He studied Culinary Arts at Erie 2 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES and operated the

Snacks and More shop in the Little Valley Courthouse from 1991-1996. He is survived by his wife, Glenda

(Austin) Doner; a son Christopher Doner; daughters Courtney (Doner) Johnson and Jessica Doner. He had

two grandchildren, Asher and Emilia. All reside in Tennessee. He is also survived by his brothers, Brink,

Winfield and Wayne; sisters: Cookie (Doner) Stevens, Yvonne Doner, Adalene (Doner) Aigotti of South

Carolina and Elizabeth (Doner) Imel of Minnesota; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of

flowers, memorial donations in John’s memory may be made to Yvonne Doner, 1153 Moran Rd. Silver Creek, NY 14136.
