Obituary of Patricia J. Einhouse
Patricia J. Einhouse, 71, of Canandaigua, NY formerly of Silver Creek, NY passed away peacefully on
Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, NY.
She is survived by the most caring and loving husband, Edward Einhouse, whom she married 31 years
ago at Our Lady of Mt Carmel on Nov. 9, 1991 in Silver Creek, NY; her most precious daughter, Sarah
(Brandon) Tarnowski; “Ma” to three cherished grandchildren, Brayden, Jack and Addie Mae; the sister
she never had, Barbara Adamczak, the Ethel to her Lucy; dearest friends, Bill & Linda Wright; her close
cousin, Sue Orr who gave her a special family blanket; her canine companion, Koda, her own personal
therapy dog, who is a full energy dog and who kept her going for as long as she could. “Ed was my
sunshine, Sarah was my rainbow and Brayden, Jack and Addie Mae were the pot of gold at the end of
the rainbow”.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Lena (nee Heitzmann) DePasquale.
Pat was a graduate of Silver Creek High School, “Class of 1970”, she continued her education at JCC and
SUNY Geneseo earning a Bachelor of Science in Education. She worked as social worker at Margaret
Anthony Nursing Home in Dunkirk, NY, also at TLC Lakeshore Hospital in Irving, NY. Pat took time off to
be a stay at home mom and raise her daughter Sarah. She then continued her working career as a
teacher at St. Hyacinth School in Dunkirk, NY and finished her career at Northern Chautauqua Catholic
School. She was known for her kindness and was named the “Senior Citizen of the Year” in Ontario
County, 2017, for her work with Pet Connections therapy dogs along with her dog Betsy.
Relatives and friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY on
Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 3-6 PM, a funeral service will immediately follow at 6 PM. Interment
will be private.
