Obituary of Fae I. Southworth

Fae I. Southworth, 88, of Silver Creek, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, July 6, 2023 at the Gowanda Nursing Home in Gowanda, NY.

She was born on August 13, 1934 in Silver Creek, NY the daughter of the late Kenneth and Gertrude (Hoth) Conklin.

Fae married Bruce I. Southworth on January 31, 1953 in Farnham, NY and he preceded her in death on February 11, 2011.

Fae graduated from Lake Shore High School in 1952. Family was the most important part of her life.

She enjoyed cooking and baking and  loved her Shih Tzu’s Bear and Smokey.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Lori A. Taber of Irving, NY; three granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Fae was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Bruce I. Southworth,

and infant son John Southworth, a daughter, Cheryl Southworth, a sister, Ruth Kuczka and a brother, Allen Conklin.

As per Fae’s wishes there will be no public visitation and services will be private. Interment will be in Jolls Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY.
