Obituary of Betty Muscarella

Betty J. Muscarella age 98, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at
Manchester Commons, surrounded by family.

She was born in Silver Creek, NY on August 21, 1924, the daughter of the late Anthony
and Rose Gerace Domenico.

Betty was a 1942 graduate of Silver Creek High School and had worked as a secretary for
Sunset Frozen Foods and a nurse’s aide for many years.

Betty was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt, always proudest of her grandsons
and their accomplishments.

She was also known for her fabulous cooking and baking skills, which will be dearly
missed by all who knew her. Along with that, she was also known for her fantastic
gardening skills, being able to revive and grow any plant she could in her small
apartment.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis J.
Muscarella; a sister, Rita Gugino; and two brothers, Edward and Albert Domenico.
Betty is survived by two sons, James Muscarella and his wife Andrea and Louis
Muscarella, along with her grandsons, Joseph (fiancé Ana Simonyan) and Nicholas
Muscarella.

The family would like to acknowledge her caregivers, especially Michelle Pasinski, who
was like a daughter to her, and the staff at Manchester Commons.

Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel 160 Central Ave, Silver Creek, NY
14136 on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow
at Evergreen Lawn Cemetery, Silver Creek, NY
