Obituary of Ronald J. Rybak
Ronald J. Rybak, 60, of Silver Creek, NY passed away on Wednesday afternoon May 4, 2022 at his residence with his family at his side.
He was born on January 28,1962 in Buffalo, NY, one of four boys of the late Leonard and Dorothea (Drajem) Rybak. He married Cara Venn on June 8, 1986 in Hamburg, NY
Ron graduated from W. Seneca East High School in 1980, where he was an accomplished hockey player, baseball player and golfer. He continued his education at SUNY Buffalo State College, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration. He was self-employed owning and operating Woodman Delivery through Fed-Ex for more than thirty years.
Ron loved sports, especially hockey, baseball and golf. He coached his sons in baseball, when they played in the Hanover Little League, NCCYHA Hockey, Varsity High School Hockey, the Fredonia Steelers in Fredonia/ Dunkirk. He was a diehard NY Yankees, Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bills fan.
Ron was a former member of the Tri-County Country Club and attended the First United Methodist Church in Fredonia.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Cara Rybak; his sons, Bradley and Zachary Rybak; a step-daughter, Chelsie Ozga; three brothers, Lawrence (Angeline), David (Jeanne) and Paul (Lisa) Rybak.
Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave Silver Creek on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 11-1 PM, where a funeral service will be held at 1 PM. Interment will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery, Silver Creek. Memorial contributions in Ron’s memory may be made to the Northern Chautauqua County Youth Hockey Association.
