Obituary of Marie I Frew

Marie I. Frew, 93, of Silver Creek, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon March 20, 2022 at the Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, NY.

She was born on February 20, 1929 in Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of the late Adam and Edith (Lawless) Airhardt. She married James W. Frew on June 19, 1948 and he preceded her in death on March 12, 2016.

Surviving are three children; William Frew of San Francisco, CA, Holly (David) Snock of Forestville, NY and Tammy (Rob) Carline of Wellsboro, PA; three cherished grandchildren, Kayla (Ryan) Harvey, Marisa and Shane Carline; two great- grandchildren, Anna Harvey and Levi Carline.

Marie was preceded in death by three brothers, William, Buster and Chester Airhardt and three sisters, Shirley Scott, Audrey Kovatch and Betty Lou.

Marie was an avid reader, enjoyed listening to country music, word search puzzles, going to the casino with her husband Jim and she loved  face timing her great- grandchildren.

At the request of the deceased, funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave., Silver Creek.
