When I became a supervisor at Special Metals in 2008, I was a fish out of water. I came from the south and it was a bit of a culture shock. Mr. Nick helped me so much in my acclimation to my job. He was always good with a story, always treated me with respect, he loved joking around with me and I with him. He always had the best interest of others at heart. Make no mistake , he was all about his job and the safety of others. He was professional, kind, funny, and trustworthy. I have fond memories of the crew at Special Metals. Nick Christopher, Hacksaw Allen, Steve Lilly, Steve Tynan.... Good guys, all of them. That said, Mr. Nick stood out. One of a kind. Rest In Peace Nick, and thank you so much for all you did for me.
