Obituary of Maggie E Irvin

Maggie E. Irvin, 36, of Silver Creek, NY passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening November 21, 2021 at ECMC in Buffalo, NY.

She was born on April 18, 1985 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of Kevin and the late Tracey (Smith) Irvin.

Maggie is survived by her loving father, Kevin (Barbara) Irvin of Silver Creek; two dear sisters, Courtney (Drew) Eck of Angola and Katti Irvin; her maternal grandparents, Charles (Judith) Smith; two aunts, Colleen (Jeff) Griewisch and Linda (Paul) Purello; two uncles, Chuck (Annette) Smith and Steve (Anita) Smith; two cherished nieces, Payton Eck and Bella Hegner; cousins, Brandyn, Brianna, Nathan, Audrey, Bayley, Brantley, Delaney, Cambria, Jordan and Nicole.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Michael and Maureen Irvin and an uncle Timothy Irvin.

Maggie was a graduate of Silver Creek Central High School, “Class of 2003” where she served as the Class President. She attended St Bonaventure University and graduated from Continental School of Beauty in West Seneca, NY where she earned a Cosmetology License in hair design. She was employed by Vacantis Hair and Nail Salon in Fredonia, NY and worked as a bartender for many years at the Sunset Bay Restaurant and the Silver Creek Fireman’s Club.

Maggie was a caring selfless individual, who loved life had an infectious smile. She faced many obstacles in her life and she did it with great courage. Maggie could light up a room with her energy and laughter. She will be dearly missed by her family and many close friends.

Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY on Friday, November 26, 2021 from 4-7 PM. Interment will be private.

The family suggests memorial contributions in Maggie’s memory to the Silver Creek Fire Dept., 172 Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 331 Alberta Dr #106 Buffalo, NY 14226.
