Obituary of Nancy S. Wilson

Obituary Nancy S. Wilson,80, of Irving, NY, “ Sunset Bay” died unexpectedly on Friday morning July 5,2019 at her home. She was born on April 23,1939 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late Thomas and Florence(Czarniak) Mowbray. Nancy was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in 1957. She worked for a number of years at the egg factory in Buffalo. On November 6,1965 she married her soul mate William B. Wilson and they raised two sons, William B. (Dawn) Wilson Jr. and Robert F. (Renee) Wilson. Nancy and Bill moved to Sunset Bay in 1980 from West Seneca, NY together they purchased the Sportsman Restaurant. She was a kind, giving, generous person, very family oriented, who had many interests fishing, garage sales, shopping at the Blair Outlets in Erie, Pa. and especially loved to go out to dinner. The Sunset Bay Fire Dept. could count on her for donations and food when they needed it. In addition to her sons, Nancy is survived by five grandchildren, Russell, Taylor, Jessica, Lisa, and Billy Wilson; five great grandchildren; her best friend, Faith T. Heister; her faithful companion Jazzi; also survived many friends and patrons she met through the restaurant who will miss her dearly. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband of 42 years William B. Wilson Sr. A Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
