I am very sadden to hear about Mom, Mom was always a mom to all of neighborhood kids. I remember when we were young and fell into the creek in the winter time (ice was not hard) , how we survived without drowning was a miracle. We would all go back to Jim's parents house soaking wet and cold, Dolores would send us to the basement and have us strip off the wet clothes (gave us blankets to wrap up with and then dry all our clothes so she could send us home dry. She would bring down hot chocolate and coffee ( oh yes Coffee ). Then she would yell at all of us how dangerous it was and we should be more careful, we never listen and would go back the next week and do it again.. lol.. Dolores was my 2nd Mom, I will always miss her. Please pass my sympathy to everyone.
