Jane, George and Michelle - and family
I was out of town during your loss and funeral for Tony. So I thought I would write a few words - much better at that.
Tony and I went to school together - but the common bond was Mickey and my mother and father. I lost them both at a very young age - but Mickey did so much good for our family at Snyder Beach - and for many others at Snyder Beach. Tony followed in his footsteps - during the years of "building walls" - he (and George) were like family to our community.
I remember him always saying - " hi John John - just like Mickey. And he always had a smile - a gentile handshake - and always looked me in the eye - just like the Mick. Anyway - over all the years - I always enjoyed our conversations and our combined laughter - because we grew up together and our parents had a bond. When my father passed away - Mickey came to the funeral home - same--Hole Parker - two times, not one. Tony was my friend - and will be in my memory - someday we will be together again at Snyder Beach Heaven - I am sure of that. Jane, Michelle, George - you have my sympathy - but you also have my thanks for sharing Tony with me over all the years. God Bless you - and love.
