As Chaplain of the USS Enoree, AO-69 Reunion Association and a long time friend of Jim, I as always experienced a personal sense of loss at the news of Jim's passing. He had called me not long ago and we shared many things as we traveled down that "Memory Lane". Our relationship was not unusual for shipmates never seem to lose that love and respect for those with whom we served. I, along with the surviving shipmates join with Jim;s family and wide circle of friends grieve at his passing. Our wish for Jim is "Fair Winds and Following Seas" shipmate.
