Obituary of Charles G. Farley

Angola- Charles G. Farley , 63 , of Angola ,NY, died Wednesday afternoon , April 20,2016 at his residence. Charles was born on December 27,1952 in Long Island , NY the son of the late John and Mary ( Vlaine) Farley. He was graduate of Goshen Central School , class of 1972 , in Goshen,NJ . He then joined the U.S. Navy Seabee’s , serving in two tours of duty in Vietnam during the Vietnam War , and earning the National Defense Service Medal. Charles was a active member of the Silver Creek Samuel Cimino Post 6742 , and the American Legion Post 148 .He as a former member of the Dunkirk Moose Lodge , and the Dunkirk Conservation Club. He also Co-founded and was past President of the Brothers of the Road Motorcycle Club. His hobbies included fishing, riding his motorcycle, volunteering and raising money for various local organizations .Charles really enjoyed spending time with his BOTR friends ,and dear to his heart , his “Charlie’s Angels”.He loved living and being on Lake Erie. Survivors include a daughter , Alexis ( David) Mazur , a son , Jeffrey Farley both of Queens,NY , a granddaughter , Sophia Mazur , a sister , Janet ( George) Scoville of Goshen,NY , a brother , John (Richard Trifari) Farley of Sarasota , Fla. also survived by two very close friends , Wayne and Laura Hartinger of Irving , NY. Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel , 160 Central Ave.,Silver Creek,NY on Monday , April 25,2016 from 2-4 &6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday , at 10AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church , 165 Central Ave. , Silver Creek,NY with Fr. Daniel Fiebelkorn officiating. Interment will be in Mt Carmel Cemetery with full Military Honors. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions in Charles’s memory may be made to the Wounded War Project , 4899 Belfort Rd.
