Obituary of Catherine C. Tyler

Catherine C. Tyler , age 69 , of Silver Creek, NY died unexpectedly on Monday , May 16 ,2016 with her loving family at her side at TLC Lakeshore Hospital , Irving, NY. She was born on October 2,1946 ,in Dunkirk , NY ,the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Lucas) Fricano Jr. Cathy was a graduate of Silver Creek Central School , Class of 1964 and the Jamestown Community College School of Nursing. She worked as an RN for several years at WCA Hospital in Jamestown, NY, also the Lake Shore Hospital in Irving,NY. She moved to Florida in 1990 and became a traveling RN in the Springhill area. In her younger years her family owned the Lakeview Lanes and she enjoyed participating in mixed bowling leagues and helping with the family business. Family was most important to her especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 14yrs ,William Tyler, whom she married on October 20,2001 ,three daughters, Danielle ( Josh Newark) Muscato of Cassadaga,NY , Michelle ( Phillip) Opeil of Forestville,NY , Marisa ( Scott) Seibert of Sanford , Fla. , three step sons , Kirk ( Charyle) Tyler of Cassadaga,NY, Kevin ( Shelly) Tyler of Az. , and Kris ( Barbie) Tyler of Fl , grandchildren , Robert (Jade) Frank ,Christopher ( Karri Catanese) Frank , Morgan Opeil , Cooper and Alden Seibert and great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel , 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek,NY on Friday, May 20,2016 from 5-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be private. Interment will be in the Mt.
