Obituary of Laureen A. Rexroat

Laureen A. Rexroat ,57 ,of Silver Creek, NY died Thursday evening August 11,2016 at Buffalo General Hospital. She was born September 4,1958 in Binghamton, NY, the daughter of James and Pauline ( Dickinson) Fox. Laureen was a graduate of Silver Creek Central School, Class of 1976. She attended SUNY Fredonia studying Art. But most of all she was a homemaker who took care of her family. Laureen enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting , gardening and reading . Her memberships included Our Lady of Mt Carmel R.C. Church, the Daughters of the American Revolution, past treasurer of the Benjamin Bosworth Chapter of the DAR, Habitat for Humanity, Committee member of the Boys Scouts of America. In her younger years she was an assistant Den Mother for Cub Scouts Troop # 252, Silver Creek. Survivors include her mother, Pauline Fox of Irving, NY,her husband of 35years Robert J. Rexroat, two sons ,Robert ( Stephanie) Rexroat of Seattle, WA and William ( Ilana Trombly) Rexroat of Norwich,NY,a daughter, Jennifer Rexroat of Silver Creek, eight grandchildren, Tristan, Kylie ,Oliver, Sylvan ,and James Rexroat, Hunter,Felix, and Keira ,three brothers, James Fox of Irving,NY, David ( Elisa) Fox of Irving, NY and Donald ( Pamela) Fox of Irving ,NY, a sister, Mary ( Bob) Junge of Lebanon ,N.J., her mother and father-in-law ,Robert ( Florence) Rexroat of Venice Fla. She was preceded in death by her father, James Fox. Relatives and friends are welcome to call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. in Silver Creek , today from 2-4&6-8 p.m .A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning at 10a.m. in Our Lady of Mt.
