Obituary of Angeline A. Wolfe

Angeline A. “Angie” Wolfe, 94, of Silver Creek, NY passed away Sunday evening, April 2, 2017 at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dunkirk, NY. Angeline was born on May 10, 1922 in Silver Creek, the daughter of the late Frank and Jessie ( Sullivan) Lancione. A lifelong area resident, she graduated from Silver Creek High School, Class of 1940.Angie was a homemaker and loving mother to five children. In her younger years she worked for Van Raalte in Silver Creek. During WWII she helped to assemble and taxi planes for Bell Aircraft in Buffalo, NY, also helped on the family farm. Time was precious to her and she loved to spend it with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Angie is survived by two sons, Patrick (Wendy)Wolfe of E. Amherst, NY, Robert (Mandy)Wolfe of Preston, Md., two daughters ,Sandra ( Michael) Congdon ,Kelli (Joseph) Rodney , both of Silver Creek, six granddaughters, Cherie Wolfe, Coren Fote, Michelle Wolfe, Ashley Glasier, Rebecca Wolfe, Breana Wolfe, two step grandchildren, Brianna Passarella and Nicholas Wolfe, and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Howard H. Wolfe Jr., a brother Anthony Lancione, a sister Anna Lancione, and a step son James H. Wolfe. Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY on Saturday , April 8,2017 from 9-11:30AM, where a blessing service will be held at 11:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt Carmel R.C. Church in Silver Creek at noon. Interment will follow at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Silver Creek.
