Obituary of Mary Beth Nagalski

Mary Beth (Vandura) Nagalski, 63, of Alden, NY formerly of Silver Creek, NY passed away Sunday morning, April 2,2017 at Hospice Buffalo in Cheektowaga, NY. She was born on July 19, 1953 in Silver Creek, NY, the daughter of the late Anthony and Angela (Scibilia) Vandura. Mary Beth was a graduate of Silver Creek High School, Class of 1971 and the Eastman School of Music (1975) Rochester, NY, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Music. She played the French Horn, music was her passion and her life. In her younger years she taught music and toured with Chuck Mangione. Mary Beth was a very caring and loving individual, whose life changed drastically when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Lindsey (David) Corey of Buffalo, NY, a brother Joseph (Kathleen) Vandura of Huntersville, NC, two nephews, Michael (Jessika) Vandura, and Joseph (Kaitlin)Vandura, two nieces, Holly (Jon) Centurino and Maggie (Andrew Schaeder) Vandura. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 10AM at Our Lady of Mt Carmel R.C. Church , 135 Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY with Fr. Daniel Fiebelkorn officiating . A private burial will be in the Mt Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, 375 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill, New Jersey 08034.
