Obituary of Randy J. Cimino

Randy J. Cimino, age 56, of Fredonia, NY formerly of Silver Creek, NY passed away on August 20, 2017 at the Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk ,NY, after a courageous battle with cancer. Randy was born on March 11, 1961 in Silver Creek, NY the son of the late Richard and Frances(Damico)Cimino .He was employed by N&W Railway right after high school. Randy held many positions in his 31 years of employment. He was deemed one of the best TKO operators, his railroad buddies called him “Meatball” other friends and family called him RaRa, Cuzzy, Deek and Fish Hooks. Randy was an avid motorcycle rider. He truly loved his Harley Davidson Sportster. He rode “ Knees to the Breeze” whenever the weather allowed him to. Randy was a charter member of the Sons of AMVETS and AMVETS Riders .He was a member from 2006 to the present and served as 3rd Vice for the AMVETS Riders. Randy enjoyed many outdoor activities hunting, camping, and swimming to name a few. He looked forward to Fall so he could watch his Buffalo Bills win or lose. He was a prankster and every opportunity he got he would scare or trick you. He was a kind, loving soul who had a beautiful smile and laugh that could brighten your day. Growing up he was known to be wild and crazy, always leaving everyone at the Bluebird or Costa’s saying what next? He enjoyed the waters at Lake Erie, making sure each day started with a cup of Tim Horton’s, a newspaper and a good parking view of the lake. Randy loved his family very much. He spent time daily with his sister Kim or niece Brandi and family. Randy also had a extended family he rented from for 35 years. The Conti’s of Fredonia Cindy, Fiore and children. They looked at Randy as one of their family members .Treating him with so much love and concern. Fiore (the Babe) was Randy’s buddy- always saying “ Babe is the man”. Randy is at peace, his pain and suffering is gone. We shall hold tight all the fun loving memories of him. He will truly be missed by many. In honor of Randy Cimino the family would like to have a “Remembrance Day” at Tim Horton’s on Lakeshore Dr. Dunkirk, NY. A random 100 customers will receive a free cup of coffee on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. Survivors include his loving sister, Kimberly(Nick)Evanczik, nephews, Ricky(Valentina) Cimino and Eric(Wendi Dickerson) Creache, aunt ,Angie Mohonsky, uncle, Tony Damico, niece, Brandi(Travis Smith)Pchelka, great nephew Zackaree Pchelka and great nieces, Alexandria, Gracelyn, Chyann and Mia, aunt Angie Mohonsky, and a uncle Tony Damico. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Cimino II. As per Randy’s wishes, there will no public visitation. Funeral services will be private. The family suggests memorial contributions in Randy’s memory to the Roswell Cancer Center o Brooks Memorial Hospital.
