Obituary of Harold J Anger SR

Obituary Harold J. Anger Sr., 94, of Sarasota, Fla. formerly of Silver Creek, NY died Wednesday morning September 12,2018 at Tidewell Hospice in Palmetto, Fla. Harold was born on April 9,1924 in Buffalo, NY, the oldest son of eight children of the late Budd and Ida (Truebenbach) Anger. Harold worked for and was an active member of the Ironworkers Local # 6 in Buffalo, NY for more than 35 years. He was a WWII veteran, having served in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer. Harold was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, where he married the love of his life Rose Marie Cuccia on February 12,1949. He also was very involved in the former OLMC Senior Citizens Club. His other memberships included the Silver Creek Senior Citizens Club and the Senior Friendship Center in Sarasota ,Fla. He enjoyed listening to music, working jigsaw puzzles, woodworking, and making homemade wine. Harold always liked the outdoors, in his younger years he was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include two sons Harold (Cindy) and Todd (Colleen) Anger both of Silver Creek; a daughter Debbie (Larry) Brunatti of Bradenton, Fla.; three grandchildren Kimberly Duffy, Chad (Kimberly) Anger, and Amanda ( Justin) Dix; seven great grandchildren Kieley, Emily and Ella Anger, Everett and Madison Dix, Alec Burt and Luke Duffy; four brothers Richard, Edward and Norman Anger of Buffalo, NY, Raymond (Ida) Anger of the Villages, Fla.; a sister Jeanette Clark of Buffalo. Besides his parents , he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years Rose M. Anger, a brother Arnold Anger, a sister Dorothy Dunbar and a grandson Larry Brunatti Jr. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 20,2018 at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY at 11:00 with Fr.
